A brief overview of one of the fresh new networks that are emerging seemingly all the time.
In their words:
z-Mirage is an innovative affiliate network set to accommodate every merchant and affiliate to find their advertising needs with our program. Whether you’re a small business just starting out or a large corporation, z-Mirage treats each customer the same. Our company offers sophisticated affiliate software, reliable customer support and quality service that will allow merchants and affiliates to build a long term business relationship.
It is true to say that z-mirage.com have come along way in the past 6 months, launching with just 2 programs they now boast 14 covering several different verticles, including free offers, finance, retail and estate agency.
I really expect this network to bloom over the next 12 months - continually finding niche programs and becoming yet another network that affiliates require to have in their arsenal

Kieron Donoghue (UkOffer on affiliates4u) has come up with a great stratergy to get some links in for his online bingo site http://www.bingo.org.uk/
He is asking webmasters and bloggers to review his site and offering a fantastic prize for the review he feels is the best.
The prize on offer is a Sony Ericsson P900i smartphone worth £350! Not to be sniffed at when all Kieron is asking is a 200 word review.
The catch - there isn’t really one, the reviewer just needs to drop in 2 or more bingo related keyword anchored links and bobs your uncle.
Just so you wonder, yes this blog post does fill the requirements for the competition (full details on Kieron’s Blog) but this post is more a review of the technique involved. At the end of the day if he gets 50 - 100 reviews as he hopes that is an awful load of link love going his way. It is also a darn sight cheeper than buying the text links of Text Link Ads or a similar service. Indeed it averages out at about £3 per link which really isn’t bad.
I am always on the look out for great link building ideas - though I doubt I will following this with getting people to blog about any of my sites with the promise of winning Mummy Theme Park

The Affiliate Forum (for the UK atleast) Affiliates4u have just announced another add on to their ever expanding community
From Matt Wood:
The affiliates4u.com user reputation system provides a way of rating users based on the quality of their posts. Users on the forum can add or subtract reputation points from other users by clicking the reputation link in their posts.
The reputation platform allows users in the community to tell us and other members which users post in a quality, constructive and thought provoking manner, and likewise which members you should perhaps take less seriously.
You will see when you post two new images, firsty a green dot’ the more dots you have the greater your reputation as deemed by the community.
- Click to give / subtract reputation
- The more dots you have, the greater your reputation
To give another member ‘reputation points’ click the scales icon which can be seen on the top right of each individual post - you can also use the same button to detract reputation points from that member.
This is really a needed requirement - as there are alot of people on this forum now (over 15 thousand) only a couple of dozen of which are really worth listening to
